The end-of-the-year recital is what the Florida Jammers work for all year long! It's time to shine by showing off their new skills and routines! Performing in the recital is optional, but we strongly encourage participation. Dancing in front of an audience helps build confidence and boosts self-esteem. Plus, it's a chance to meet other Florida Jammers students to make new friends!  Remember - Invite all the friends and family you want because admission is FREE!

One of the extra awards that can be won at the recital is Perfect Attendance. Click here to read how you can earn Perfect Attendance and to see the Attendance Documentation Pics!

We are so proud of all our Florida Jammers (especially those who participate in the recital!)  In addition to being able to take pictures and video with your own cameras, professional photographs are taken at the recital and are available for purchase - this includes individual portraits, group portraits, and action shots taken during the recital. Check out www.portraitsbytina.com to see some amazing pics from the recital.

Florida Jammer students who are in Middle School may perform either a solo, duet, or trio at the recital to earn an extra award. The routine must be choreographed by the students and be between 1 minute - 1 1/2 minutes long. The routine must be either hip hop, poms, or jazz. Routines need to be shown to one of the Directors or Teaching Assistants before it can be performed at the recital. Music should be upbeat and "clean" - that means no cusswords, innuendo, or offensive material.  This is OPTIONAL - just another way to show your creativity and earn another award!

The Jammer of the Year award is an award that the Advanced JAM students are working towards all year.  The winner and runner-up are announced at the recital. Click here to read more about the Jammer of the Year award!  Middle School Florida Jammers are eligible to participate in the Miss Skillz event in which the winner is also announced at the recital!
