| Perfect Attendance is an extra award given out at the recital to those Florida Jammers who have not missed a single lesson all year long. A student's Perfect Attendance record starts from the first lesson taken. It is very difficult to achieve Perfect Attendance, as life can be very unpredictable and crazy at times. Our policy is that if a student misses class due to illness, funeral, vacation, etc, it is counted as an absence. We do make some exceptions - we do not count Halloween, the 3 days prior to Thanksgiving, and the weeks before Winter Break and Spring Break. Mandatory school functions are considered excused. **A student is marked present if she attends at least 15 minutes of a class. |
| In 2007, we developed a great way to monitor Perfect Attendance so that there are no confusions at the recital. At the end of each month (or every 2 months), we take photos of all girls who have maintained Perfect Attendance. Once a student misses, she will no longer be seen in the photos below. At the end of the year, those girls still remaining in the photos will receive an extra award at the recital. Make it your personal goal to stay in the class pictures! |
| **Girls, please do not get upset with yourself or your parents if for some reason you have to miss a class. That's a part of life! There's always next year! And don't forget - there are other awards to be won at the recital (such as the Team Point award!) |
