Miss Skillz is a title awarded to one girl from the Florida Jammers Middle School Competition Crew each year. This award is designed to recognize the dancers who have been working exceptionally hard all year to perfect their skills.  Participation in the Miss Skillz event is OPTIONAL and if you choose to participate, then you are asked to perform the skills that we have been working on in class for the Florida Jammers Directors/Instructors (classmates will not be present, as that can be distracting). 

What does Miss Skillz get?  Miss Skillz is announced at the recital and she receives an extra award. And, if we have parental consent, Miss Skillz will have her picture posted on THIS WEBPAGE for years to come! One last thing - Miss Skillz is meant to be a supportive time in which we acknowledge and admire each others' strengths as dancers. Just getting out there and trying is a victory in and of itself.  This is also a time to practice being humble (if you are awarded Miss Skillz) or congratulatory and friendly (if you are not).
