| The 2010 Florida Jammers recital was a HUGE success! Thanks to all of the Jammer teachers, family, and friends who helped make this year's recital the best EVER! We hope to see everyone at summer camp and back for classes again in the Fall. |
| A huge congrats goes out to the Garden Jammers who performed at the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, May 11th. That same day, the Ashton Florida Jammers performed at the Ashton Ice Cream Social. Way to go! |
| Congratulations to the Florida Jammers competition teams for receiving 4 Golds for their hip hop and pom routines at the Starbound Competition in Tampa on May 2nd. Also, congratulations goes out to Reina for receiving a Gold for her pom solo as well! Well done, girls! |

| Congratulations to the Florida Jammers competition teams! You received High Golds for all 4 of your routines (2 hip hop, 2 pom pom) at the Thrive competition in Fort Lauderdale on April 17th. All 4 of these routines also received 1st Places! Boom Boom Pow (Advanced JAM) received an Overall 1st Place and High Score award in the Large Group category! In that same category, Phantom of the Opera (Advanced JAM) won 2nd Place Overall, Higher Ground (Middle School) won 3rd Place Overall, and Whatcha Say (Middle School) won 4th Place Overall. Well done, ladies! |

| On Thursday, April 29th, the Florida Jammers participated in the Make-a-Wish "Walk for Wishes" event, held in Lakewood Ranch. After leading everyone in a warm-up dance, we walked one mile through a beautiful golf course. Our team alone raised nearly $500.00 for Make-a-Wish! Altogether, the event generated $25,000 in support of granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Outstanding! CLICK HERE to see pictures from the event! |
| Newsflash! The Florida Jammers recently conducted 3 hip hop workshops at the 2010 Girls Summit on Saturday, April 10th at Pine View School. The Girls Summit is an event run by Community Youth Development and other organizations around the county designed to help with the enrichment of middle school girls. | Since the Florida Jammers are growing and expanding so rapidly, we are looking for extra instructors to assist us and eventually run their own classes. We require that employees have transportation and are available to teach between the hours of 3pm-5pm after-school. Instructors must have experience in one or more of the following: pom poms, hip hop, jazz, and cheerleading. Teaching experience is also required.
