Competitions are an optional part of the Florida Jammers program, but are strongly encouraged. Participants benefit greatly in that they gain more experience performing in front of an audience and judges, and as a result, they obtain a boost in self-confidence, self-esteem and body awareness.  In addition, they are able to receive valuable constructive feedback from professional judges, and they have the opportunity to meet and interact with other dancers from across the country. Participation in competitions also brings our students closer together emotionally, as they develop a greater bond through their teamwork.  Florida Jammer students who are in middle school or elementary students in their third, fourth, or fifth year with us are eligible to participate in competitions.  ALL competition information including dates and competition results will be posted on this page.
